There Are No Cats In America And The Streets Are Paved With Cheese

Do you remember the movie An American Tail?

Fivel and I have two things in common.

#1: Neither of us like cats (sorry Meghan); Fivel because they eat him and me because I am allergic.

#2: We both LOVE...

CHEESE!!!

Some might even say I am a bit fanatic in my love, devotion, craving and obsession for cheese.

I love all kinds; hard, soft, smelly, melted , on top of things, under things, mixed in, as a garnish or as a main dish.

Cheddar, Provolone, Gouda, Pepper jack, Monterrey, Munster, Brie, Feta , Cream Cheese, Cheese Cake, Cottage Cheese, Mithra, Mozzarella , Cheese balls, even spray cheese...I love it in every variety

For one month every year I give up cheese. It's a matter of self-control, and it's always good to set goals. So this year I did not seek out any kind of cheese for the ENTIRE month of June.

There were a few accidental indulgences, namely when I ate dinner at someone else's house and cheese was on the menu. I couldn't very well be rude, and I promise you I didn't enjoy it!
But as today is July 1st...
For breakfast I ate mozzarella sticks and cheddar jalapeno poppers.
For lunch I think I'll have a grilled cheese sandwich and an extra cheesy pizza.
For dinner, the possibilities are endless!
You'll have to excuse me now, I need to go eat more cheese!

Hey! First of all, amen amen amen to everything on this post. I'm a cat hater and cheese lover myself. Once, we were asked the biggest adjustment to marriage...Marcus said he was surprised how much cheese a person could eat. We are in North Spokane, just off Division. We're not in the best area, but it's been good. What part are you from? If we would be living here longer, we'd definitely be looking somewhere else. There are some really nice parts of Spokane...further from Division! If you have time, it would be fun to see you. You can send me an email and let me know when you'll be around...jeanettegreen@gmail.com. How are you liking Indiana? Starter home?! How fun!

Hmmm...couple things

1.) I think you really do like cats but have made yourself think that you don't because then it would be too painful to stay away :)

2.) I remember serving you waaaaaaaaaaay to much cheese when you were here. You should have told me! No offense would have been taken. Trust me.

Miss you!

I must have missed this post. I had no idea that you loved cheese so much! I'd have to say that it made me laugh. I'm glad that you've been able to eat cheese again.
How are you? How's painting your house going? Do you have any photos of your finished bedroom?
